1. Press Play and sign in with Google or Apple
No new password and no download. The game loads in your browser in a few dozen seconds the first time and faster after that. It runs on PC and mobile (on mobile you play in landscape, see Install on your phone). The game comes in Thai and English; the Play button on the English website opens the game in English.
2. Create your character
Pick a gender, hairstyle and hair color, then choose a name of 2–16 characters (Thai or English). You can change your look later at Mei the stylist, see Hairdresser and dye.
3. Follow Pricky's tutorial
You start in Sandport, the seaside city of sand, on the harbor bridge. Your guide Pricky (a potted cactus) teaches you one step at a time: click the glowing spot to walk, talk to Lyra, open your bag, and walk over to the town guard. You can skip it and come back later; type /tutorial to replay it.
After that, watch the current goal card on screen. Tap it and your character walks to your next goal by itself. Whenever you feel lost, tap it.
4. Head out and fight monsters
Leave the city for the Dune Sea. Monsters around town at Lv 1–5 do not attack first. Click or tap one to attack, and click loot to pick it up. Press A to turn on auto-attack.
When your HP runs low, press X to sit and rest, or drink a Berry Tonic from your hotbar.
5. Story quests and daily work
The town guard in Sandport gives your first quest, "A Crack Beneath the Town". The two-chapter story has 19 quests from Lv 1 to 48, and new maps open as you progress (or as you level). Every day you also get 3 daily quests and 3 bounty contracts. Read all of it in Quests, Bounties and Side Stories.
6. At Job Lv 10, pick a job
Go back to Rowan in Sandport and choose 1 of 6 paths. Rowan lends you a training weapon and sends you on a short hunt (about 5 minutes) that teaches how that job plays, then changes your job. See the strengths of each in the Class Overview and the class pages. If you are unsure, the Bowman and Vanguard are the easiest to play solo.
At Job Lv 30 you can advance to your second job (the trial opens from Job Lv 25).
7. Find friends
Type /party roomname to form a party, or open the social window (key P) to see who is online and looking for a party. See Parties and Chat Rooms. During the Alpha the level cap is 50.
