Everyone starts as a Sprout and picks 1 of 6 lines at Job Lv 10 with Rowan. At Job Lv 30, once you pass your line's trial, you can advance to your second job. Exact numbers and skills live on the class pages; this guide shows how each line plays.
| Line (first β second job) | Role | Difficulty | Weapons | How it plays |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vanguard β Lancer | Frontline | Easy | Sword | Highest HP, sweeping skills, Riposte counters and drains life |
| Spellcaster β Elementalist | Magic damage | Medium | Staff, Dagger | Switch elements with Attunement; frail but slippery with Blink |
| Bowman β Skyhunter | Ranged damage | Easy | Bow | Shoot from safety; the second job gets a hawk companion |
| Cleric β Oracle | Light magic / Support | Medium | Mace | Hits hard with light and heals the team |
| Scout β Shadowblade | Melee damage | Medium | Dagger, Sword (twin daggers at second job) | Fast, evasive, crit-heavy, blinks behind enemies |
| Trader β Artisan | Economy | Medium | Axe, Mace | Best money-maker, runs a stall, a luck-based line |
Vanguard β Lancer
The team's tank. Core skills include Crushing Blow (a sweeping strike), Flame Burst, Iron Will and Riposte, which counters every close-range hit and drains life back. One of the easiest lines to play. The second job, Lancer, thrusts at long range in a line and has the Valor Surge ultimate.
Spellcaster β Elementalist
A frail cannon. Attunement binds fire, water, wind or earth to match the monster, then you fire Arcane Bolt. If something reaches you, Crystal Bloom blooms ice crystals from the ground to slow it, and Blink teleports you away. Arcane Barrier blocks physical hits and Mana Shield soaks a few hits so your casts go through. The second job, Elementalist, brings huge area spells: Blizzard, Meteor Rain, Chain Lightning, and stone walls that trap monsters.
Bowman β Skyhunter
Fast and accurate, great solo. The second job brings a hawk companion. Mark Prey marks a target so the whole team hits it harder, Feather Guard sends the hawk to take hits for you, Talon Frenzy orders a swarm attack, and Falcon Dive sends it plunging into a group. For players who like fighting beside a companion.
Cleric β Oracle
A light line that hits hard and heals. Sun Lance finishes single targets, Halo Burst bursts groups, and Sacred Blades spin 4 blades of light around you. Strong solo and wanted in every party. The second job, Oracle, gets Angel Burst (the strongest area spell), Seraph Spear for bosses, Sun Chain that leaps between enemies, and Sunwell, a pool of light that heals everyone inside, while still reviving the team.
Scout β Shadowblade
Fast, evasive, with frequent crits. Phantom Step flashes you behind the enemy, and crits restore SP. Umbral Knives plant Shade Marks across a pack. The second job, Shadowblade, wields twin dark daggers and builds around basic attacks with Blade Rhythm β a 1-2-3-4-5 beat where beat 3 adds a cross slash and beat 5 is a guaranteed critical β then closes the combo with Shadow Burst for a burst of Night Tempo speed. Shadow Bind roots monsters, Nightfall Vortex pulls them into a pile, and Shadow Twin splits off a shadow clone to strike with you. The opposite of the light-wielding Oracle.
Trader β Artisan
The line for making money and running a stall for other players (see Trading with Players), and good at crafting and refining too. The standout is the luck line: Lucky Strike gives normal hits a chance to land a jackpot for x2.5 damage, Wheel of Fortune spins one of four random results, and Golden Fever wraps you in a coin aura for extra crits and faster attacks. A Lucky Chest on little legs trots after you to carry your goods, and can dash at a monster to blast it with a burst of gold coins (Chest Slam). The second job, Artisan, smashes with heavy axes or maces and fills a gold chest with every hit β when it's full, Gold Rush speeds up the whole party. A Fortune Flip coin turns on a fixed beat so the team can save big hits for heads, and coin plates soak up damage (the gold is only a visual β no Gold is gained).
