Two currencies
| Gold | Gems | |
|---|---|---|
| Earned by | Fighting monsters, selling items, quests | Top-up only |
| Used for | NPC shops, refining, the stylist, buying from players | Cosmetics and extra services |
| Can be passed to others? | Yes, via stalls, the market board and 1:1 trades | No, bound to your account |
Gems cannot be exchanged for Gold, and Gold cannot be exchanged for Gems. This is deliberate, so the in-game economy belongs to the players.
One-on-one trading
Meet in the game and swap directly, no shop in between.
- You must be on the same map, standing close (within 3 tiles), and both Lv 15 or higher
- Each side can place 10 items plus Gold, lock the list, then confirm. If anyone edits the list, both locks release (anti-scam), and you have to wait a moment for the list to settle before confirming
- Gold given one way has a daily cap (50,000 Gold) to stop money being shifted to a main account
- Account-bound items, borrowed trial items and equipped items cannot be placed
Running a merchant stall
Trader/Artisan-line jobs can learn the Market Stall skill. Set up at the central market plaza in Sandport, pick items, set prices, and other players walk up and click to buy.
- 3 items per skill level Β· the stall stays open for 24 hours, even if your character moves on or logs out
- A 3% fee is taken from sales. Earnings wait at the stall for you to collect from anywhere
- Very cheap NPC items cannot be listed far above a price cap (this stops money being moved with overpriced junk)
- Learn Lucky Chest and a little treasure chest on legs trots after you: portable storage with 40β130 slots you can open anywhere, extra carry weight, and you can list items straight from it on your stall
The market board and consignment
Talk to Oren at the market board (Sandport and Elderwood) to search every stall's goods and buy directly, sorted by price.
Every job can consign items at the board too, no Trader needed. You can list 3 items for 24 hours with an 8% fee. (A Trader's own stall is the better deal: lower fee and more slots.)
Storing items
Deposit and withdraw items at the town storage. A quantity picker opens (tap β / +, type a number, or drag the slider), handy for stacks of many items.
What cannot go on a stall
Everything obtained with Gems is account-bound, and stalls reject these items so there is no path to turn real money into Gold. Sigil Shards and items bought with Golden Tokens are bound too.
Careful
The team does not stand behind real-money trades outside the game. Accounts that do it will be suspended, and items already handed over cannot be recovered.
