Toonda runs in your browser with no store download, but the browser bar takes a lot of room in landscape. So there are ways to play full screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open the game in landscape and tap the button on the login page. The game switches to full screen and locks landscape for you
  2. If you drop out of full screen, a β›Ά Fullscreen badge appears in the game. Tap it to go back

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Apple does not let websites go full screen, so the only way is to add the game to your Home Screen and open it from the icon. The first time you enter the game on an iPhone, it opens a 4-step guide with a mock screen and a pointing finger (reopen it any time from the πŸ“² Play fullscreen badge).

  1. Tap Safari's β‹― button beside the address bar (on older Safari it is the Share button β¬†οΈŽ, so skip to step 3)
  2. Tap Share
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen. Scroll down until you find it; tap "View More" if you cannot see it
  4. Tap Add (leave "Open as Web App" on), then open the game from the Toonda icon on your Home Screen

iPhone and iPad automatically use a memory-saving mode. The game skips baking light and shadow when you enter a map, so scenery looks slightly plainer than on PC.

Common problems

  • The game says "rotate your device": hold the phone in landscape. The game cannot be played in portrait
  • If frames drop, turn on Smooth Mode in settings. See Mobile Controls
  • If you hit a bug, tap 🐞 Report bug in the menu
